I just was thinking about TV shows coming and going.
BSG is done.
Kyle XY was cancelled
Heading down the stretch on Lost, Supernatural, next year will be the lasts probably
Been in a dry spell with Doctor Who and Torchwood
Some good shows are on the cusp, not sure if they will be cancelled or not.
I'm getting worried I'm losing most of my favorite shows |

Trying to find an old show that lasted maybe 10 episodes, if that. I've looked it up but can't remember the actual number of episodes, but I think it was 9.
It was called Glory Days and I think they showed it, or sold it at least, in the UK and some areas as Demontown.
If anybody finds it, has found it, or anything, please point me in a good direction.
Was thinking of shows around then, that and Strange luck were both shows I enjoyed that just didn't last long enough. |

As usual, it was Dragon-Con and my birthday time of the year (today).
I hate being old ....er
Older yes thats what I am, not old!
On the flip side, i do hope everybody had fun
And bought me stuff
Should I say that? Oh well, how about got me stuff, yes got is much better and easier than bought
I'll settle for some incredibly geeky cool things that happened, revealed, etc
I actually thought I was going to try make an appearance this year, well I and the wife, but we had to go get the newest arrival to our family, the next chihuahua....I've spent the long weekend on puppy duty.
Yes that means picking up poop

Obama vs McCain.
As someone who keeps a fair eye to the political world, I wonder if either of them is a step forward. Not saying that Clinton was either, but I'm also not convinced that she wasn't better than Obama.
I guess in a nutshell, I think we have lousy candidates. I think we generally did from the start, and wonder if there is a simple fix to our political system now.
Kind of wonder how bad the campaign is going to be. |

For freaking Jericho.
It was a bit off at the beginning of the year, I guess that happens trying to compress a season into 7 episodes, but it has been nothing short of wow the last couple weeks. |

She didn't want people to 'spoil' things, because if word got out about how bad this book was, how little sense it made and how it was lacking compared to the rest, it might not sell 6 zillion copies only 3 zillion.

I know a lot of people don't like or don't watch wrestling. That is your right, and hey I can't fault you for that. What I do say, request and ask is that you at least respect the passing of a professional in the business, not only that but his wife (who was ahead of her time when she was more involved) and their young son.
This was a guy who wasn't the biggest guy, in a world where bigger is better, but excelled at it and was widely respected as one of the best, if not the best.
I grew up watching wrestling, and I respect it for the ability that they had. Is it scripted? Of course, but so is a movie or a tv show and I can appreciate a good performer in those as well. This was one man who always seemed to give his all, to make the performance 'real'.
Details haven't been plentiful yet, but its a tragedy, no matter what the complete story is.
I'm watching the tribute right now and i'm sick. |

OK, this is nuts!
Multiple sources are telling me that CBS is thisclose to sealing a deal to bring Jericho back for at least eight episodes, possibly at mid-season.
My spies caution that this is in no way official, but it certainly sounds like it could be by day's end. It's now just a matter of signing the actors to new deals and, according to one insider, finding a new soundstage to house the show's sets.
To say this would be a huge victory for crazy TV fans everywhere would be the understatement of the frakkin' millennium |
